More Interest on Pinterest

Some more filming photos have cropped up on Pinterest. Again, I can't find the actual source of these photos - apparently they are from Facebook, but when I click on the links it takes me to another Pinterest board. Confusion abounds. If you are the rightful owner of these snaps and would like credit to be distributed where credit is due, please let me know! In the meantime, I found the pics pinned on Pinterest HERE.

Clunatics Rejoice! Doc Martin: Series 7 in Production

No amount of grumpiness on the part of Dr. Martin Ellingham can keep Doc Martin fans, a.k.a. Clunatics, away from the hit comedy-drama that is now filming its seventh series.

With filming underway in the Cornish town of Port Isaac, the fictional one of Portwenn is recreated and the role of the curmudgeonly and blood-phobic medic, Martin Ellingham, is reprised by Martin Clunes for Series 7 of Doc Martin.

All regular members of the cast return for the eight new episodes, including Caroline Catz as Martin’s wife Louisa, Ian McNeice as local restaurateur Bert Large, Joe Absolom as Bert’s son Al, John Marquez as policeman PC Joe Penhale, Jessica Ransom as the doc’s receptionist Morwenna Newcross, and Dame Eileen Atkins as Martin’s Aunt Ruth.

(Spoilers follow if you haven’t seen Doc Martin: Series 6.)

The previous pics are from Pinterest. My befuddled brain could not determine whether or not the pinner of these pics is the actual owner of the pics, so if I'm mis-attributing them, I apologise. Please let me know and I'll fix it up!

Here's Bert Again!

Doc Martin Guided Tours

Port Isaac will yet again double for the pretty seaside town of Port Wenn in the series, where Clunes likes to walk his dog along the cliff overlooking the bay during filming. The doctor’s house is actually Fern Cottage on Roscarrock Hill (pictured above).

Returning to the series will be Dame Eileen Atkins, who plays Doc Martin’s formidable Aunt Ruth, Ian McNeice, as local restaurateur Bert Large, and Joe Absolom as his tolerant son Al. Plus, Jessica Ransom returns as the Doc's receptionist, Morwenna Newcross, and John Marquez is set to come back as eccentric local police officer PC Joe Penhale – in the new series he'll be experimenting with a newly-issued Taser gun.

Doc Martin series seven is set to air in the autumn of 2015.
